Cotton bag made in Portugal with a three-color serigraph printing The ocean is my medicine & a small inlay bag. The bag design started from a handmade paper Cut-Out which I adepted to fit well on the bag. The cotton is very smooth as it was washed before it was hand-sewn in a textile fabric in Northern Portugal. The screens for each color layer are prepared & stretched over a wodden frame, some areas are blocked off with the negative of the image. Ink is applied manually, each color means preparing a different screen, resulting in a final serigraph of great color saturation & texture. The bag is light in weight, but very resistant & due to the large bottom, it offers enough space to hold your beach towels or to go shopping, avoiding plastic bags in your daily life. A nice detail is the small inlay bag for small items like sunglasses oder keys. The perfect accessoire for sea lovers! Size 47x35x15 cm. Washable at 30 degrees inside out. Do not iron on print.
