This mid-century bottle was produced by the ever-popular Thermos brand, in great condition & full of charm. Despite its diminutive size it has a wealth of character, & would be a great addition to a vintage campervan, beach hut or kitchen shelf. The vessel is composed of glass with an angled, geometric shape. On the front the words ‘THERMOS BRAND’ are moulded. The neck, being wide, makes this pot ideal as a catch-all for holding all your important little bits & bobs. Alternatively it could be used as a very small vase, to hold one or two sprigs collected from your walks, or herbs snipped in the garden. It has a white plastic lid. This style of Thermos bottle was most commonly produced in the 1960s-1970s, although the date of manufacture is not present on this piece. It would most likely have originally been part of a picnic set. At ‘Cottage Industrial’ Home Supplies, we celebrate the beauty that comes with age, & consider the patina of wear & tear to be part of the charm of our items. As such, it is important that buyers recognise that our items are not sold ‘as new’, but will feature marks of time consistent with their vintage condition. All items will be faithfully described in as much detail as possible, & all issues noted, but please take time to study items carefully. If you have any questions, or would like further details, please feel free to contact us before making your purchase. Refunds will not be issued on the basis of a disagreement about how an item has been clearly & honestly described. Please note that, where items are photographed as part of a setting, only the item described in this listing is included as part of the sale. Vintage Themos Brand’ Storage Jar. Glass Bottle.
