CHIVES ‘BOHEMIA’ - Allium schoenoprasum A high yielding broad leaved variety, Chives Bohemia is intended for forcing & field growing. Leaves are fairly wide & are a medium green colour. Chives Bohemia keeps its leaves in most winters. Growing time from sowing to harvest is approx. 110 days. SOWING Sow indoors: February - May Sow outdoors: March - April / August Harvest: May - October Plant Spacing: 6in / 20cm Depth: 1/2 - 1inch / 1-2cm Direct sow chive seed outdoors. Grow chives in a well prepared seedbed in full sun. Sow seeds at a depth of 1cm (1/2) in drills 15in / 30cm apart.
