On offer is this lovely collectible set of four antique salts. They’re in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - notable areas of ware however (please refer to images) exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone) as well as light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age; all interiors show areas of darkened salt-corrosion but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the set. They’re of traditional form, beautifully decorated with a repetitive border pattern which displays ever so well still. Supported by three charming ball feet & marked for the Mappin Brothers of London, circa first to second quarter of the 20th century. They measure a charming 60mm in outer diameter by 32mm in total height & are ready to be collected & enjoyed once again! The postage quote is for a Royal Mail tracked & insured service.
