It produces green leaves with thick, white borders - hence the species name. Even a novice gardener can try its cultivation, as it is an average demanding species. Life form: annual plant, presented species grows up to an average of 50-60 cm in height. Small, inconspicuous flowers are gathered in the inflorescence (cyatium) - they are not the main advantage of the plant. They bloom briefly from June to July. What distinguishes the spurge is its characteristic foliage - green, narrow & pointed leaves are motley & have white edges, & sometimes a white stripe in the middle. The decorative value of the leaves is kept for quite a long time, from July to the end of October. Erect, slightly bushy - the plant develops many branches, ending with a typical inflorescence of the genus: cyatium. Snow on the Mountain Flowers offered in our garden shop is perfect for planting flower beds, but it is not recommended to put it in groups. It can also be grown in flower pots or balcony boxes to decorate a balcony or terrace for a long time. Due to the interesting color of the leaves, it is also recommended for cut flower cultivation. It is a partially frost resistant species. The best place for cultivation is a sunny or slightly shaded position with not very fertile (important! Fairly moist & well-drained soil. Snow on the Mountain Flowers grown on fertile soil may lose its characteristic, decorative feature, i.e. the white edge of the leaves. Seeds are sown directly into the ground in April or May, although in colder regions this later date is recommended. Plants look best when planted with a spacing of 50-60 cm.
