English antique sterling silver sugar bowl or indeed a bowl for any purpose, designed as a salt cauldron so most probably made to match the owners salt cauldrons on the dining table. Its hallmarked from London in 1874 with the makers mark being that of Robert Harper. Three mask capped decorative feet. in excellent order with no damage, it does carry a family crest which we have not researched. It measures 128mm in diameter.
