Made from stoneware clay & fired to 1,220 degrees centigrade in an electric kiln. I make these little shy fairies or sleeping pixies by hand & without using a mould so each one I make is slightly different. Is she holding her hat down to shade her eyes from the sun or so shy she doesn’t want you to see her face? Your imagination must decide. They will be just as happy hiding in your fairy garden as they will be as an ornament in your home, & because I’ve used stoneware clay, they are frost proof & will not fade in strong sunlight. The edge shy fairy is approximately 16 cm (6.5 inches). The cross legged & legs to the side shy fairies are approximately 11 cm tall (4.5 inches).
