Take your gardening to the next level with these Gardyn yCube adapters designed to fit any standard Regular (2 3/4) or Wide Mouth (3 3/8) mason jar, allowing for Kratky style gardening. Simply replace the metal lid that came with your mason jar, fill with your desired nutrient solution, & insert the Gardyn yCube of your choice into the provided hole, which is perfectly sized to fit your Gardyn yCubes of choice. An integrated alignment ring printed into the bottom of the lid keeps the lid centered & allows for gardening both with & without the threaded ring that came with your mason jar. Kratky style gardening allows you to grow plants without any power hungry aeration equipment & requires only that a sufficient air gap exists between the bottom of the Gardyn yCube & the nutrient solution. We also offer these lids with an air hole for insertion of standard air line tubing if you prefer to aerate your nutrient solution. These lids are 3D printed in PLA (Made from Corn) with 100% infill (solid), are food safe, re-useable, & hand washable in lukewarm water. For best results, the Kratky gardening method requires that you also cover the rest of your jar with something that blocks light, such as a paper lunch sack & rubber band as shown, a dark sock, aluminum foil, paint, etc. Gardyn yCubes & jars sold separately.
