This salt cellar was hand thrown & trimmed on my pottery wheel using a brown speckled stoneware clay. It was bisque fired & carefully glazed with a icy white glaze that has a soft blue hue & high fired in my kiln. Wooden spoon shown is included. For months I searched the internet to find a clay that has this depth of speckling in it. This particular clay comes from Canada, & while it is more costly than the local clays I use, I believe it’s worth it to be able to make special pieces like this. Approximate size: 2.5-3 high & 4.25 across the middle. These are stock photos, the salt cellar you receive will vary slightly due to each being handmade.
