Fairy Garden x25 Polyanthus Exhibition Giant Strain Flower Seed Sowing the seeds Sow june to Sept, Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed fine seed compost in pots or trays. Keep at a temperature of between 15-20oC (59-68oF). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged. Germination will usually take 14-30 days. As soon as you see the seeds start to chit (germinate), lightly cover them with a thin layer of vermiculite or fine seed compost.
