Parsley is a popular herb used for flavoring many dishes, & it is commonly seen on plates as a garnish. Known for its ability to neutralize bad breath, you can chew on the sprig of parsley garnishing your plate after your meal to freshen your breath. Parsley is an easy-to-grow biennial plant in mild climates, & an annual in cold climates. Also, are considered pest & small ones at that. Parsley comes in two general varieties: curly leaf & flat leaf (also known as Italian parsley). Flat leaf parsley tends to have a slightly stronger flavor than that of curly-leaf parsley, but both types are relatively mild. Our Italian Giant is typical flat leaf variety. Might be easy cultivated on terrace or balcony. SOWING Sowing: Can be sown all year round. Sow seeds in trays & thinly cover. Min. 18oC is required to speed up germination, takes up to 3-4 weeks. When the seedlings are large enough plant out in containers or a prepared garden bed, 15cm (6) apart. Direct sow seeds thinly, in drills 30-45cm (12-18) apart & about 3cm (1) deep.
