Zone 3-9. Annual flowers that re-seed wonderfully so next year you will have moss rose plants where they were planted the first year. Lovely little wild rose-like flowers. They are very drought tolerant so if you forget to water them for awhile it is usually not a problem as they are like cactus & retain water. If you have trouble with rabbits, make sure & plant marigolds near the moss roses as rabbits do not like marigolds & are usually deterred from eating the moss roses. (I had first hand experience with the rabbit problem). Moss roses grow about 5-6 inches tall & can grow 8-10 inches across in a little ‘mound’. Press seed on top of soil & keep moist until they germinate. If you plant the seed in the Fall, they will germinate in Spring. One of my favorite hardy flowers. 50+ seeds.
