Do not fill more than 1/2 - 2/3 full, this watering can has an open top for easy filling. You get a nice steady & controlled flow. The spout is narrow to help from over watering & because of this, if you try to water faster, it will just over flow out the top. Use it slow & steady & it works great! - See my video.
