Food always brings our family together, & one of Marc’s greatest passions was BBQ. His ribs & brisket rivaled any pitmaster, & his magic BBQ rub was the secret ingredient. We created Marc’s Magic Rub to always remember & honor our dad. What started as a BBQ rub has now transformed into an all purpose seasoning that people are using on everything! Here are just a couple of my favorite recipes: 2 INGREDIENT RIBS Ingredients: Baby Back or St. Louis Ribs Marc’s Magic Rub Recipe Preparation: Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Remove the membrane off the back of the ribs. Season both sides liberally with Marc’s Magic Rub. Let ribs sit out & come to room temperature for about 30 min before placing in oven. They will start to absorb the rub. Cook for 2.5 - 3 hours under tender. Optional: finish on the grill and/or with BBQ sauce. SPATCHCOCK CHICKEN ON THE GRILL Ingredients: 1 Chicken, Spatchcocked Marc’s Magic Rub Yellow Mustard, such as French’s Recipe Preparation: Preheat 1 side of your grill to 450 degrees. You want to cook the chicken on indirect heat so leave the burners on the other side off Season both sides of the chicken liberally with yellow mustard then Marc’s Magic Rub Cook skin side up on the indirect heat side of your grill for 40-50 minutes until the chicken is cooked through & the skin is crispy.
