Handmade Hexagonal planter. The planters sides are made of decking stacked 2 high & sits on two feet to help protect the planter & ensure they sit level. The inside of the planter is lined with heavy duty plastic lining to help protect the inside of the planter. The planter will require no assembly & will be able to be used right away. As the planter is raised of the ground this helps to limit some of the potential weeds/pest that may affect your flowers & vegetables. The planter are built using quality wood & fixings ensuring that they strong & durable in the British weather. When empty the planter is easily moveable so instillation should not be a problem. The planter is suitable for flowers & some vegetables. The planter is built with high quality pressure treated timber & is FSC certified. Planter sizes are listed as Length X Height Feet included in total height & are 5cm. England Delivery Only. When we build our hexagonal planters, we aim to minimise the joints of the planter to give a seamless look. The corners of the planters are mitred to a 30 o angle on the corner on every layer. Each section of timber only two screws will be visible as these are fixings for the joints. The layers are stacked on top of each other until the desired height of the planter is met. The layers are fixed together internally, this limits the number of screws & fixings seen once the planter is in use. The timber decking, we use is FSC certified & tantalised. This means that all of the timber used is sourced from sustainable sources & is weather proofed, making it suitable for this application. The boards have a thickness of 32mm, making it thicker than regularly available timber from DIY stores. The height of the boards are 120mm, this means each planter will be within a measurement of 120mm in height. This measurement does not include the feet we add to the planter. The feet of the planter are made of 2x2 inch timber making the feet very sturdy & support the weight of the planter. The same timber is used on the inside of the planter to act as supporting post to help brace the planter in use.
