Long flowering. Prefers a sunny warm place, if possible not in the wind. The most desirable south & southwest side. Prefers soil rich in lime & nutrients. Seeds are sown for seedlings in February, but it is also possible in open ground in late May - early June. Thunbergia looks great on supports, trellises or ropes against walls, in the form of pyramids in flower beds, to create flower fountains.
