Everglades Tomatoes, as described in David The Good’s bestseller Totally Crazy Easy Florida Gardening, are a robust, vigorous tomato plant. They have a sweet flavor with a pleasant tart aftertaste. The fruit are medium to dark red. Everglades tomatoes are the toughest & best producing tomatoes you will ever find. One packet contains 25 seeds. These are pesticide free. Each seed packet is hand illustrated. Germination Tips: Everglades are a trickier plant to germinate. If they have too much water, they won’t germinate. Also, they shouldn’t be planted deep. They only need a tiny bit of soil over them. They like heat & it helps them germinate faster. Well draining soil works best for starting them. If the seeds are kept moist & they are lightly sown about 1/4th - 1/8th of an inch deep then they should germinate. Everglades tomatoes are notorious for taking a long time to germinate. I’ve had them take up to two months for me, & I had someone buy them from another Etsy shop & they took 5 months. Just be patient & they should germinate!
