Antique Victorian cased drinking glass or medicine measure. A hand-blown glass in a red leather or possibly faux-leather, case. The glass is unusual, being oval in shape & consequently is certainly mould blown . These items often contained glasses for medicine with etched dosage marks on the sides. This glass is unmarked so was probably intended more as a travelling drinking glass. The box is in good condition but showing some signs of wear, mainly to the edges, & soiling. The glass itself is undamaged. It appears to be the original glass & fits the case well. The case stands 3.5 (9 cm) tall & is 2.75 (7 cm) wide by 2 (5 cm) deep.
